Hi. I’m Teague (rhymes with league).
I build teams that build products.
After starting my career in engineering, I now lead cross-functional teams to develop new products from ideation through launch. I’m an advocate for the lean startup methodology and a mentor for entrepreneurs through several accelerator programs.
I founded THG (now part of Zahar Strategy Group) as a product management consulting group that provided executive coaching and interim management to organizations with purpose. THG ran an internal startup lab, and helped larger organizations like AOL, Deloitte, and the White House set up their own innovation programs.
Now at Quanata (a State Farm company), I’m focused on making good things happen in the world by rewarding people for taking the high road. Previously at Capital One, I worked on changing banking for good and shaping product management was taught.
Strengths include compassion & empathy, simplifying complex systems, and iterative efficiency. I practice mindfulness, daring greatly, and balancing caring personally with challenging directly.
