Typically when you hire a web designer or developer, one of three things happens.
- You get exactly what you asked for, whether it works or not,
- You get what the designer thinks you need, OR
- You get what somebody thinks your customer wants.
The problem is that none of these necessarily help you achieve your business goals.
Take the guesswork out of your web presence.
Our approach to web experiments can help you iterate towards a digital communications strategy that actually works. If you’re looking to drive innovation or planning on starting a new program or venture, ask us about lean coaching.
Instead of writing a huge check for your entire site up front and hoping it turns out well, consider working iteratively with us. We bill by the experiment, so you’re not locked in, and nobody has to pretend to know what’s going to work before we start building anything. The result is lower risk and more flexibility to build something that truly solves your problem.
Our Approach
We are web scientists. Not satisfied with “conventional wisdom” or “common knowledge,” we test hypotheses and collect data instead of relying on conjecture. We work with our clients to iterate towards a more effective web presence.
Evaluation
First, we will work with you on an evaluation, where we learn more about your business and the business goals of your site. We will form hypotheses on the best way to achieve each of these goals, then design an experiment to test each hypothesis. We will give you these recommendations, and an estimated cost and timeline for running each experiment.
Experiments
If you choose to continue with us, you will pick and prioritize the experiments you want to run. Our team will design and build the necessary web pages to run your experiment, collect the data, analyze the results, and help you interpret them.
Rinse and Repeat
At the end of any experiment, you’ll have our recommendation for next steps, and you can choose whether to continue working with us, try out a different provider, or bring it in-house and finish up yourself.
